Bibimbap

One of my favorite dish is Bibimbap! I know there are few sides missing in this dish but the photo turned out nice so I will continue blogging with this photo.

I generally cannot handle the hot sauce so I put very little to enjoy this dish. That or I add honey/brown sugar in the hot sauce to reduce spiciness. I love this dish that I can have it without the meat part.

Marinate with:
- 1 small tray of sliced beef
-  4 sliced green onions
- 1 sliced small onion
- 1 grated asian pear
- 3/4 cup soy sauce(or add more)
- 1/3 cup sesame oil
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
-1/2 cup honey/brown sugar(optional)

Stir-fry:
- Shredded  carrots
- Bean sprouts
- Mushrooms
- Beef

- Boil spinach, cool it in cold water and squeeze excess water.
- Finely sliced cucumber and marinate in salted water for few min. Squeeze excess water.
- 1 sunny side up egg
- Sriracha sauce with honey(optional)
- 1 bowl of rice

1. Mount all the veggie and beef on bowl of rice.
2. Drizzle with Sriracha sauce on top.

Bass

Bass opening season started a week earlier this year so I spent another weekend to fish.

Stayed the entire day fishing and taking breaks at Rib Fest for lunch. My first bass fishing, I caught 2.8 pound Bass, took it home and deep fried that thing. As sides I made roasted mushrooms and baked sweet potato fries with it.

Fishing

This summer I wanted to try new activity. Last year I went hiking at Whirlpool and had chance to fish there. It was challenging but also relaxing activity, it was good for people like me who sits in front of computer all day.

So this past few months I've been exploring fishing location in Niagara Region.

Donut Burger

Last year I had wonderful time trying out food people were talking about at CNE. One of the interesting food I had that I totally did not expect to be good was the Krispy Kreme Donut Burger.

I had the opportunity to make my own donut burger with my friend. We made prototype to see if we can make them ourselves. When we found out it was possible we made whole loads of them for potluck party we attended.

Recipe:
- Lettus
- Tomatoes sliced
- Bacon(optional)
- Krispy Kreme Donuts(about 36 pieces)

Burger mix (about 34 slider size):
- 2 pound ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4cup dry bread crumbs/panko
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
